Three Ingredients To Obtain A Goal Are:

PATIENCE

FAITH

ACTION

Patience = Peace

Faith = Believing Your Goal Exists

Action = Creating It

James 1: 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Hebrews 11:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Don’t Waste Opportunity

In Matthew 25 the Bible talks about the ten virgins, the parable of the talents, the sheep and goats.

Five of the virgins were wise and five were foolish, one servant with the five talents earned 5 more, one servant with two talents gained two more also.  But the one who received one talent dug in the ground and hid his Lord’s money. The sheep and the goats are separated as to how they have served others.

Are we ready for the Master’s return? Are we multiplying the money given to us? Are we helping others in need?

I believe the Lord wants us to be faithful in our relationship with him, our finances, and our spiritual gifts.

It takes a close relationship with the Father to be led by the spirit and be ready for his return. It takes money to have what we need and be able to give. It takes compassion, use of our spiritual gifts, time and money to clothe, feed, visit the sick, and prisoners.

None of us as Christians are exempt from these things or from being a good steward over what God has given us.

The one servant who hid his Lord’s money because he was afraid did not take any of it or waste it. We read He gave it back to his master just as he was given.  He was afraid to use what he was given.  What the servant with one talent really wasted was an opportunity!

Today embrace your relationship with God, be a good steward over what you have been given, and don’t waste opportunities!

hinding talent

Matthew 25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming;[a] go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour[b] in which the Son of Man is coming.

The Parable of the Talents

14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[c] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him,[d] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

DIGGING A NEW WELL – LEADERSHIP

DIGGING A NEW WELL!

It’s time to dig a new well.

Many times in prayer the Lord will give me a vision. This morning I see a shovel going into the ground.

shovel foot

I heard the Lord say, it’s time to dig a new well and leave the past behind! Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

According to Wikipedia.org Water wells typically range from 3 to 18 metres (9.8–59.1 ft) deep, but in some areas can go deeper than 900 metres (3,000 ft) so the fresh water can come in. A lot of times an old well may become contaminated. That is what your past will do if you allow pain or regret to remain in your heart. When these memories resurface they seek to contaminate your future. God wants you to focus on new and fresh things daily. The Bible tells us to be transformed by the renewing our mind!

This new well is for you to discover, as you leave the past behind, a clear, fresh vision the Lord wants to give you for direction in leadership.

Digging isn’t easy and does take time, but the first step is your act of faith. As you begin to put your foot on the shovel and push it into new ground, God will help you. Soon your digging will be replaced with equipment that will do the work for you. In other words, things will start to come together, and you will have all you need to complete each phase in the area of leadership the Lord has placed inside of you. Then your well will become fresh and living water for others who thirst.

In the Old Testament we read about the woman at the well who came to draw water. The well was a location either outside the city walls or if fortunate, inside the city, for the women to come and draw water they needed to survive. You have living water and leadership skills that contain life giving principles for others!

Today seek God for fresh and new revelation of where He wants to take or what He wants to reveal to you as a leader. Take a step of faith! Put your shovel in the ground and start digging. Ask, seek and knock, God will answer!

Your well has the trips you want to take, the dreams in your heart, revelation, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, gifts, talents, life-giving principles to share with others. Don’t wait. Start digging today.

Leaders arise, DIG and find a new spring in your life!

POWER OF LEADERSHIP

I believe everyone wants to control and have power over their circumstances. I believe God has given us power! He has given us power and dominion over the earth, in fact He has given us the same supernatural power that Jesus had and more! We are supernatural beings. John 14:12 (NIV) Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Where there is fear, insecurity, anger and bitterness sometimes people will manipulate others to try control their circumstances. We were never meant to have power over people to use them for our purpose. instead we were called to serve others in the greatest capacity to affect the world around us.

The power in leadership comes from exercising who we are meant to be.

Jesus trained his disciples as leaders and he gave them power! They went out and use their leadership nature that God had given them and found out who they really were in Christ.

Jesus didn’t tell them you can’t be great. instead he told them how to be great! Be a servant! In essence he was saying Use what I have given you to serve others and you will become great.

He has given us power over the enemy, power to get wealth, power over all the enemy, power to cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, set the captives free. He has given us His Word. he has to given us promises.

Your power and leadership will become the strongest it’s ever been when you walk out the purpose God has for your life. Then I believe you will begin to use the supernatural powers he has given you to do everything Jesus did and more!

The power in leadership is being your true self.

Our Source For Leadership

When God created the heavens and the earth and the seas, and all that in them it is. He created the fish from the sea, the trees, plants and animals from the earth, the stars from the heavens.

Genesis 1: 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Then he created man from Himself!
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

He said let us make man in our own image, after our likeness. One of our purposes for existing, is to have dominion over the earth. He has giving us creative abilities and power to rule and reign over the earth.  But our source to become a great leader, comes from our servanthood! Jesus came to serve. The more people you serve, the greater leader you will become.

If you want to be a great leader go to your source, our Heavenly Father. He gave each of us talents and gifts to serve one another. Use your God given ability to serve as many people as you can through your gifts and talents, and you will grow to become the greatest leader you could ever hope to be.

Life Of A Leader

Are You Living The Life Of A Leader Or In The Life Of A Slave?

harriet-tubman-tells-it-how-it-is.png

If you have received the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart, you have the spirit of leadership within you. God has given you authority and power for his plans and purposes for your life, and to impact the life of others. The problem with many who are supposed to be walking in authority and leadership is, they still have the mentality of a slave.

Paul said your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. That doesn’t mean we are supposed to have preconceived ideas of our own, it means we are supposed to be led by the Spirit. We have to change the way we think!

We know that the subconscious rules our natural thinking. The Bible says as a man thinks so is he. So whatever we believe about ourselves, becomes true to us. The life of a true leader believes every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, and they change their thoughts to His thoughts and walk in His authority!!

The right attitude of a leader is humility. That doesn’t mean you are a slave! Definition of humility: HUMIL’ITY, n. L. humilitas.1. In ethics, freedom from pride and arrogance; humbleness of mind; a modest estimate of one’s own worth. In theology, humility consists in lowliness of mind; a deep sense of one’s own unworthiness in the sight of God, self-abasement, penitence for sin, and submission to the divine will. Before honor is humility. Prov.15. It means you’re willing to be led and have a teachable spirit to lead others.

To become a leader we have to have the right mental conditioning. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and guide through the Word of God and prayer. Through right mental conditioning , the Holy Spirit will train us to be a leader and to walk in authority.

The great leaders in the Bible believed by faith. They were not defeated by their circumstances and did not embrace the mentality of a slave, but they believed and trusted in God!

Hebrews 11: 33 (NKJV) … who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weaknesses were made strong, became violent in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens, women received they’re dead raised to life again.

The source of your thoughts will become your life. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly. Surrender the slave mentality, recondition your mind with the powerful tools of the Word of God and prayer, and through His Spirit, become the true leader God intended you to be.

Leadership Skills To Stay In Business

In order to STAY IN BUSINESS you have to develop leadership skills required for the entrepreneur!

PUT GOD FIRST! Matthew 6:33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. REALIZE that God can show you things that NOBODY can! He said in Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.
Failure is NOT an option! You have to develop a leadership mindset to be absolutely certain, that failure is not an option – Every single day!!

God gets the glory! Do you lack the confidence you need? Have confidence of your faith IN GOD to work through you. HE gets the glory!! Phil 2:13 (KJV) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Switch – Change the way you think in a moment’s notice. This is a requirement to let go of the past and stay out of fear. the Bible says in Luke 9:62 (NIV) Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” I definitely don’t want to look back on my past. I want to always look forward. I use the image of a light switch to keep me focused anytime I sense my mind going off in a direction that it’s not supposed to. I vividly turn on a light switch as a reminder to switch back my thoughts to the path of light that I am supposed to be on, and to continue pursuing the vision God gave me.

USE YOUR TIME WISELY! Spend most of your time on what you are passionate about. Develop new skills, advance in training, focus on your vision, and make preparation. Do these things regardless if you get paid to do them or not to begin with, and the money will come, because what you are passionate about and your vision, is what you were created for. Proverbs 22:29 (ESV) Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.

TAKE ACTION! The Bible says Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise, Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler, Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest. Do you ever see ants sleeping or just doing nothing? They are always moving, always driven by their destiny. They don’t lack direction. Each ant has it’s own purpose and will fight to the death to defend it. Get moving towards your destiny, Take the necessary action!!

DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS! Learn what you are supposed learn and do what YOU are supposed to do.

START WHERE YOU ARE! Don’t worry about what you don’t know or haven’t learned, JUST START. Put yourself through your own boot camp. Be the master of your destiny!

IF YOU DO WHAT YOU GOD CALLED YOU TO DO, HE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST AND HE WILL EVEN SEND THE AID THAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE IT!
Phil 1:6 (NIV) being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
