We MUST read God’s Word!

As a leader and child of God, it is our duty and privilege to read the Bible.  Practice reading God’s word daily.  As you mediate and live by the principles written therein, you will stay on the right path and have good success.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Psalm 119:105 ESV

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Joshua 1:8 ESV

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Although we know we should read the Word of God, too many times other things seem to get in the way of this most important area of our lives!  I had good intentions but it seemed I just couldn’t fit reading the Bible into my daily schedule.  I had too much to do and my intentions to read never came about!

Finally I realized that I can never be the person I want to be, if I don’t read the Bible and pray daily!  After all, I claim to be a Christian.  How could I become all God wants me to be if  I’m not allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me?  Now I have a morning routine that keeps me on track for the rest of the day.  If you struggle finding time to read the Word of God, make it a priority and set a schedule to read and pray.  Allow the Holy Spirit to  draw you to read His word.  Start with small chunks of time, and soon you will realize how precious and exciting it is to read God’s word and hear from Him.  Your days will go much smoother and your relationship with the Father will grow.

Waiting on God … It’s a good place

If you are waiting on God, keep waiting. Stay encouraged. Do not fear, it’s a good place to be. Trust the Lord!
Psalm 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:20-21 Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.
Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Waiting isn’t easy at times, especially when we don’t know what direction to take or how long we are supposed to wait for transformation to take place.  God doesn’t always tell us when or how, but waiting is a good place to be in, if you trust the Lord.  With trust there is peace.  We know that God said ALL things work together for good to those who love Him.  Keep praying, keep waiting and above all else, TRUST GOD TO FULFILL HIS PROMISES!  He always keeps His word.  You have nothing to fear.  Stay encouraged and wait on the Lord.  His timing is perfect.  Maintain peace, be joyful, gain knowledge and wisdom in the priceless waiting period.  You will learn and grow as you wait on the Lord. Whatever you are waiting for will come to pass!

Don’t Think Small!

God doesn’t think small and neither should we, after all… We have the mind of Christ!
1 Corinthians 2: 9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

2:16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?”[e] But we have the mind of Christ.
So many times we have our own way of thinking… Inside a much smaller box than God’s  vision!   We never see the big picture or we tend to get discouraged during the process of change and quit!  The key is to know GOD’S plan and then take action steps to see the vision come to reality.  If God gave you a dream, THINK BIG!  If it’s for the a good cause, God will make a way that will blow your mind as you watch Him supply every need!  Seek Him for direction and stay the course.  If you will step out in faith and take action steps to accomplish His will He will meet you according to His will and YOUR faith.  Think BIG!  You have the mind of Christ!

Believe in Yourself!

walt disney

Someone out there believes in you, but first you must believe in yourself!  God gave each of us a measure of faith, it’s up to us whether we use it or not.

I’m reminded of the parable of talents.  God gave three people talents to use and grow.  One out of the three hid his talent because of fear.  What happened to his talent?  It was buried, did nothing for no one, died.  What he didn’t do with his talent, someone else did!!  This is what happens to dreams when we do not pursue them.  Remember preparation for the dream is the most important part.  Once the dream is tangible, there is no more preparation only maintaining the dream then onward to another meaningful dream.

If you do not believe in yourself, you will lack confidence and you will not do the work required to achieve your dreams, period!  Believing in one’s self isn’t prideful, it’s a certainty that what you want to accomplish will HELP YOU in various ways as you learn, gain knowledge and prosper, but more importantly believing in yourself will HELP OTHERS.  If you do not believe in yourself, your dream may never be a reality.

It’s time to lay aside the guilt, past mistakes and failures, the I don’t know how’s, why me, and any other lame excuses and it’s time to believe in you.  Believe that what you want to accomplish can be done, and YOU CAN do it!  Believe that there is a way, and it will be done.  Believe that you can’t and you won’t.

Believe in yourself and watch what happens.  Write down all your past successes.  Your next success is waiting on you to believe in yourself!  Next keep a journal of I CANs.  Write down your dreams.  Believe that you will are going to figure it out.  Believe there is always a way and you will find it.

The Power of FIA – Faith In Action

fia cathy

The power of faith is incredible when you put it to use! The same is true in the opposite effect of negativity!

When I think about faith and act in faith there is an incredible power that exists to help me create the very thing that I’m thinking about.

It’s important to pay attention to what you think about. In order to achieve any substantial success it will require for you to believe 100% that what you dream about does exist. If your thoughts consist of the same things day in and day out, and you allow your subconscious mind to rule in negativity or doubt, you will never allow your dream to become something you can actually see in existence.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. A definition of substance : The real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence.

Every dream I have is already in existence but it will require my faith to create it’s substance! Not only my faith in believing it so, but what I call #FIA – Faith In Action. James 2:14 says Even so faith, if it has no works, it is dead, being alone. This scripture is the key element as to why dreams will not come to pass. Look at the last words in the scripture… faith without works is being alone. You feel helpless, don’t have enough time, don’t know how, not enough financial security, there’s fear, and insecurity, and the list goes on.

In order to embrace #FIA – Faith In Action, it’s necessary to see your dream as a living substance. If I do nothing about my dream it is dead there is no life in it because I gave life to the power of unbelief, it’s just a thought that passes yet another day. I can choose to only think about my dream for the rest of my life or to allow my dream to become an actual living substance that will carry on even after I am dead and gone by my #FIA – Faith In Action .

My dream consists of helping others and that will last for eternity by the ripple effect. If I help people succeed through my dream they will help more people by their #FIA creating their dream.

Faith is power! It will take you where you never dreamed of going, it will cause you to do more than you can imagine, it will see you through the darkest hours, and it will create a living substance! 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

Don’t allow faith in your dream to die and be alone by doing nothing. Just thinking about it does more harm than good. Get the power you need with #FIA – Faith In Action. Create the substance of your dream. The dream is waiting to live in existence!

KNOW YOU CAN AND KNOW YOU WILL!

KNOW YOU CAN – AND KNOW YOU WILL!!
Hallelujah! What an awesome scripture and powerful word the Lord has revealed to me this morning. That we can pull down strongholds and every high thing that EXALTS ITSELF. Anything that says its higher, has more power or WORSE (listening to our negativity) instead of what God’s Word says, is a lie and needs to be pulled down! It needs to be defeated by the Word of God and have no place in us.

The Bible says to CAST DOWN imaginations. What is it that you are imagining that’s not of God? Do you feel FEAR, WEAKNESS, LACK, FEELING UNCERTAIN, INADEQUIT … THIS IS NOT THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD!!!!.

God’s knowledge says I can I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I am more than a conqueror through Christ! I will not be defeated! Overthrow the enemy of your imagination that does not line up with the Word of God and has kept you bound for years and years. The same imaginations that it keep coming into your mind over and over. They are the hindrances that have keep you from moving forward.

The Bible says that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Whatever it is… it may appear to be strong and powerful, but nothing that comes against you shall prosper. It’s like a gun with no ammunition, like a sword that is only in the shape of a sword that bends instead of penetrates, It’s like a machine gun that backfires. Whatever has come against you, see it lifeless, and powerless. It could be your opinion of yourself, or someone else’s opinion of you, words, abuse, etc. that is keeping you bound. Get God’s vision of who you really are! God’s vision of who you are in Christ will set you free!!

I see myself as a mighty warrior dressed for battle I have the whole armor of God on. I have on the helmet of salvation, I have the mind of Christ, I have the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one. I have the sword of the Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, my loins girt about with truth and my feet are shod with a preparation of the gospel. Hallelujah!

God is not slack concerning his promises. whatever you need he will provide. Phil 1:6 6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

ACKNOWLEDGE GOD’S WORD IN YOU, everything else, PULL DOWN AND CAST THEM DOWN!!

NO MORE IMAGINATIONS AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, AMEN!

What is it that you desire to do… KNOW YOU CAN AND KNOW YOU WILL!!

Great Leaders do not seek followers!

Want to become a great leader? Mother Teresa said, “DON’T WAIT FOR LEADERS; DO IT ALONE, PERSON TO PERSON. True leaders do not seek followers, instead they are driven by their conviction of purpose and pursue it with passion. They inspire others who willingly follow them because the declared vision is worth dying for.
